Load Shedding

Load shedding means the suspension of electricity supply for a certain period. It has become a common problem in our country. It usually happens when the production of electricity is less than the demand. Illegal connections, misuse of electricity, poor management and rapid growth of population are also responsible for it. Load shedding creates many problems in our daily life. Students cannot study properly at night. Mills, factories, offices, hospitals and shops face serious difficulties. Production decreases and business activities are hampered. Patients suffer much in hospitals, and household work becomes troublesome. In summer, load shedding makes life more painful. To solve this problem, the government should increase power generation and ensure proper distribution of electricity. We should also stop wasting electricity and use it carefully. Public awareness is very important. If the authorities and the people work together, the problem of load shedding can be reduced.

Deforestation

Deforestation means cutting down trees at random and destroying forests. It is one of the greatest problems of the modern world. Trees are our best friends. They give us oxygen, food, shelter, timber, shade and many other things. They also help maintain ecological balance.

But people cut down trees for housing, fuel, agriculture and commercial purposes. As a result, forests are shrinking day by day. Deforestation causes many harmful effects. It increases carbon dioxide in the air and raises the temperature of the earth. It also causes soil erosion, drought, flood and loss of biodiversity.

Birds and animals lose their habitats, and the environment becomes unsafe for living beings. If deforestation continues, our future will be in great danger. We should plant more trees and protect existing forests. The government should take strict measures to stop illegal tree cutting. Public awareness is also necessary.

Only then can we save our environment and life on earth.
